Anti-apartheid protest at Columbia University, New York City, c. 1985.

This photo appears to have been taken on the same day as the previous one, at one of a series of student protests on Columbia's campus demanding that the University divest its investments in companies doing business with apartheid South Africa. The signs read "Since last month's trustee meeting" 43,200 dead of malnutrition/arrested for passbook law in South Africa -- "The time for "investigation" is over -- DIVEST NOW!," and "Nukes Kill."
