Immigrant rights and union solidarity are on display as ILGWU members wearing “union label” skirts march in a Labor Day parade carrying a banner proclaiming “We’re Proud Naturalized U.S. Citizens and Voters.” The union designed and distributed union label fabric for members to sew skirts, jackets and other products to promote union campaigns and labor rights.
