New York Joint Board of Neckwear Workers
Locals 250 & 253, ACTWU

Bright blue cloth with gold lettering, trim and tassels. The rest of the lettering reads: Amalgamated Clothing and Textile Workers Union, indicating that the banner was made after the merger of the clothing workers (ACWA) and the textile workers (TWUA) in 1976. There were two unions of neckwear workers in the early 20th century, one for cutters, and the other for all other neckwear workers.
